二零二五春夏系列受启发于一次参与告别葬礼仪式的经历：与传统世俗对于“死亡”的避讳相反，它让我感受到更多的是关于爱和生命意义的思考。黑色、静默、祈祷、吟诗、歌颂、宽慰、和解、拥抱、行进、告别、社群以及纯粹的精神性……所有一切都让人着迷。系列标题源于同名诗歌“灵魂顶宝贝”, 它是一个简单却充满力量的短语，它在日常语言中注入了对灵魂的敬畏与珍视。在当下的⽂化语境中， 它不仅仅是⼀种语⾔上的表达，更是⼀种代表当代人⽣活态度的宣⾔，也提醒着我们，在信息与物质过盛的当下，永远不要忽视最宝贵的灵魂。

OUDE WAAG's Spring / SUMMER 2025 collection takes inspiration from my experience attending a religious funeral. In contrast to the common avoidance of the topic of "death," what I felt was not fear of the end of life, but rather a deep reflection on love and the meaning of life. Black, silence, prayer, hymns, praise, comfort, reconciliation, embraces, processions, farewells, community, and a profound sense of spirituality—everything about it was mesmerizing. The collection's title is drawn from the gospel hymn "The Paramount Soul", a simple yet powerful phrase that instills reverence and tenderness for the soul in everyday language. In today’s cultural context, it is not merely a linguistic expression, but a philosophy of life. It serves as a reminder that in a world overwhelmed by information and materialism, we must never be oblivious to the most precious—our souls.
